Conditions

Workflows & Automation Oct 8, 2026

Alerts are conditional workflows you set up through chat. Describe what to check, when to check it, and where to send the notification. For example: “Every morning at 9 a.m. India time, check overdue invoices in QuickBooks and email finance@example.com through Gmail if any are more than 30 days overdue.” Statement checks the condition when the workflow runs and sends the message if it’s met. You’ll need the relevant data source and delivery app connected, with the recipient or destination specified. Notifications go through the connected app selected for the workflow, such as Gmail for email. Other destinations depend on the actions available through your connections; these alerts do not automatically appear in Statement’s in-app notifications. Each scheduled check evaluates the condition independently. If an invoice remains overdue, the alert can be sent again on the next run. It does not currently track a threshold crossing or automatically suppress repeat alerts.
